Popular Tamil actor Arya plays the lead role, and Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Aadukalam Naren, George Mayan, PN Sunny, Muthukumar K, Kalairaani S S, John Kokken, Pooja, V Jayaprakash, Arjun Chidambaram, and Thalaivasal Vijay are among the diverse ensemble cast members. According to the official log line, the story unfolds in the village of Kattiyal, where Gautham (Arya) and his family come across a real-life version of the terror they could only have imagined in their darkest nightmare.
Arya expressed his excitement about launching his horror-themed streaming service.
He said, as per PTI, ¡°Horror is a genre that I personally believe to be quite challenging for any actor to showcase their acting skills and talent. What¡¯s really exciting about he Village, is that it¡¯s not your run-of-the-mill horror of ghosts and evil spirits but is more contemporary with strong elements of sci-fi and fantasy.¡±

The series, which is available for streaming on Prime Video in Tamil with Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi dubbing and English subtitles, is available in over 240 countries and territories globally, including India.
