Actress Amber Heard has apparently left behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood after a chaotic few years and moved to Madrid, Spain, with her daughter, Oonagh Paige.
As per a recent article on pagesix.com, Amber Heard has reportedly left Hollywood and moved to Madrid, Spain, with her daughter Oonagh.
The Daily Mail claims that a friend of Heard has disclosed that the actress is bilingual in Spanish and is content living in Spain, away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
The friend also stated that while Heard is not in a hurry to return to work or Hollywood, she may consider returning for the right project.
"I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh," the Daily Mail claimed in an article published Thursday, reports pagesix.com.
According to the portal journalist, a friend of Heard said: "She's bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise."
The friend also told the outlet that the 37-year-old actress may one day return to Hollywood.
"I don't think she is in any hurry to return to work or Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project," the friend explained, per the Daily Mail report.
In July 2022, Heard reportedly sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, for $1.1 million and has since spent considerable time in Spain. Photographs from last October show the actress basking in the sun on the beaches of Palma de Mallorca, flaunting her toned physique in a bikini.
Amber was also spotted spending time with her daughter, Oonagh, at a kids' park during her Spanish vacation, although Heard has mostly kept her child out of the public eye since the little one was born via surrogate in July 2021.
It has been almost a year since Heard's overly-publicized defamation trial with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
Depp, 59, sued Heard for $50 million in 2019, claiming she lied about him abusing her only to obtain more money in their divorce settlement.
The US lawsuit occurred in a Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom in April and May 2022.

It was based on the allegation that Heard had defamed Depp by referring to herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse" in 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post.
Although the op-ed did not specifically refer to Depp, the actor claimed it harmed his reputation and wrecked his career.
Heard and Depp separated a year before the op-ed was published, following two years of marriage. Heard stated that Depp had subjected her to emotional, physical, and sexual abuse during their relationship.
One year later, Amber countersued him for $100 million.

Heard later asked the judge to toss the jury's verdict and requested a retrial, claiming that the evidence did not support the judgment.
