Telugu Actor Sudheer Varma Dies By Suicide Aged 33; Family Says He Struggled To Get Good Roles

Telugu actor Sudheer Varma best known for his roles in Neeku Naaku Dash Dash and Second Hand passed away on 23rd January. The actor who was 33 years old died of an alleged suicide. Soon after the news of his death surfaced online, several celebrities and fans shared their condolences and mourned the artist¡¯s death.

Sudheer¡¯s family reveals the actor was struggling to bag good roles in showbiz.

A spokesperson of Varma¡¯s family quoted TOI, ¡°He has been struggling for a while to get good roles. He was depressed due to work and a host of other personal problems. His family is bereaved that he took his life.¡± Mourning his death, Sudheer¡¯s co-star from Kundanapu Bomma shared a few pictures with the late actor.

The snaps are from the pre-release event of the film and also feature Chandni Chowdary. Sudhakar captioned his tweet, ¡°Sudheer Such a lovely and warm guy. It was great knowing you and working with you brother! Can¡¯t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti! (sic).¡±

Director Venky Kudumula shared a picture of the actor and wrote alongside, ¡°Sometimes the sweetest smiles hide the deepest pain¡­We never know what others are going through... Please be empathetic and spread just love !! Miss you ra Sudheer ! You shouldn¡¯t have done this... May ur soul rest in peace.¡±

Chandni, Sudheer¡¯s co-star tweeted, ¡°Extremely devastated and heartbroken over your loss Sudheer. You have been an exceptional co-actor and an amazing friend. We are going to miss you! RIP my friend.¡± Suresh Kondi wrote, ¡°Young actor Sudheer who acted in "Second hand", "Kundanapu Bomma" and "Shootout at Alair" commits suicide due to personal issues. Such a nice guy. :-( Om Shanti.¡±

Sudheer entered the industry in 2010 as a junior artiste after working in theatre and studying acting.

His major break was in 2016 with Kundanapu Bomma. Sudheer also acted in a web series titled ¡®Shoot Out At Alair¡¯ and even shot for a feature film called Sindhu as a lead. However, the film failed to hit the screens. Despite struggling to get roles, he was once quoted as saying, ¡°Acting is the only thing that excites me. I came to the industry to stay and will do everything I can to make it happen.¡±

If reports are to be believed, Sudheer¡¯s family found the actor in critical condition at his Hyderabad residence. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital and was shifted to a private one on Friday. He was later announced dead on Monday.
