Andhra Youth Dies After Selfie With Snake
In the craze for a selfie, the youth got the idea to wrap a snake around his neck and click pictures. The incident occurred in Andhra Pradesh's Kandukur Town, Pottisriramulu Nellore district. The youth, Manikantha Reddy, involved in the incident, ran a juice shop in the town.
On the day of the incident, a snake charmer was showcasing his talents by playing with a snake near the RTC depot in town. Reddy was charmed by the snake, so he approached the talent show and took the snake from its owner, wearing it around his neck for a quick selfie. He had his fun with the snake, but while he was getting the creature off his neck, the snake bit Reddy.
Locals who witnessed the incident tried to rush Reddy to the nearest hospital in Ongole, but he could not make it there and succumbed to the bite on the way. After Reddy¡¯s death was announced, the police registered a case and have taken up the investigation.

The Snake Bit The Andhra Youth On His Right Hand
The incident shocked many, as the apparent carelessness of the youth with the venomous creature took his life. The snake charmer, Naguluri Venkata Swamy (30), showed off his control of the snake for money on the street to get his wife's treatment.
The snake charmer told Reddy minutes before he was bitten to death that the snake was harmless as its fangs had been removed. After being convinced of its safety, Reddy asked the snake charmer if he could snag a selfie with the reptile. While the snake charmer was placing the snake on Reddy, it slipped and fell. So, the charmer once again placed it on the youth¡¯s neck. Seeing as the snake did not harm the charmer, Reddy assumed things would go fine if he also put his hands on the snake, but when he tried to touch the creature, it bit him on his right hand.
