Honesty Above All Else: Woman Forgets Bag With Rs 58,000 At Metro Station, CISF Returns It
Senior citizen Kanta forgot to collect her bag from the X-BIS X-Ray Baggage Inspection System. CISF personnel found and returned a bag containing over Rs 50000 in cash to its rightful owner.
Losing your personal belongings in a public space is probably the worst thing as there is very little chance that you will get it back. But in an exemplary act of honesty, a team of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel found and returned a bag containing over Rs 50,000 in cash to its rightful owner.
A senior citizen, Kanta, thanked the security personnel at the metro station for returning her bag and keeping it safe. The incident took place at the Green Park metro station, Delhi when Kanta forgot to collect her bag from the X-BIS (X-Ray Baggage Inspection System).

The incident came to light when on Tuesday morning, the CISF personnel found an unclaimed bag at the X-BIS at the metro station. And after checking the bag for security purposes, the personnel transported the bag to the Station Controller room where they opened the bag to find Rs 58,820 in cash inside. There were a number of documents with a contact number inside the bag.
Upon contacting the number recovered from the bag, the security personnel managed to contact Kanta. She arrived at the Green Park metro station and was escorted to the Station Controller Room where the officers handed over her bag after verifying her credentials. She thanked the CISF personnel for their honesty and applauded them for their integrity.
