Even for the world's richest man, the criticism and 'negative' comments are a reality that he has to live with. Addressing the 'negative press' and comments that come his way, Elon Musk recently revealed that it does 'affect' him.
After taking over Twitter for $44 billion, Musk walked the Met Gala red carpet with his mother in his rare first public appearance.
Revealing how negative comments about him --especially after the hostile Twitter takeover -- Elon Musk said,

"Well, it does get to me sometimes, I mean, I'm not like, you know - I do have feelings. I'm not an android." He added that he tries to "take these things with a grain of salt."

"They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, but I think it's mostly paved with bad intentions. But there's a good intention in there every now and again, and hopefully, my good intentions do not pave the road to hell."
The 50-year-old entrepreneur walked the Met Gala carpet with his supermodel mother, Maye Musk, 74.

"Assuming everything gets done, would be to make Twitter as inclusive as possible," Elon said, adding that he would like to "have the rest of the world on Twitter, and that they find it interesting, entertaining and funny, and that it makes their life better."
Twitter is set to become a privately owned firm with the completion of the takeover, expected by the end of this year.
