UK Man Is So Annoyed With Potholes That He Is Filling Them With Noodles To Alert Authorities
Mark decided to take matters into his own hands and do something about the vast number of potholes in Brackley, his hometown.
The streets of his city are riddled with potholes, and one man has found an unusual solution to his problem: noodles. The man has been filling potholes with noodles, claiming the sight might expedite the filling process.
This British man is on a spree to fill potholes with pot noodles to draw attention to the issue.
Mark Morell, better known on social media as Mr Pothole, teamed up with the famous noodle company to demand that the government take action regarding the growing problem of potholes.
Drivers know that potholes can appear out of nowhere and cause much pain if driven over at high speeds.
Mark was sick of hearing about the "state of the UK's roads," so he decided to turn the terrible potholes into a culinary show.
When his plans to place rubber ducks in potholes and give the holes birthday cakes fell through, he had to devise a new strategy.

Instead of filling them with ramen, he used pot noodles, and the concept has gone viral.

Speaking to Metro, Mr Potholes said, "Since nothing fills a hole like a pot noodle, who better to team up with to highlight the ridiculous state of the UK's roads?"
Even though the most recent budget only set aside ?200 million for fixing UK roads, surveys show that it would cost around ?14 billion.
Since #NothingFillsAHoleLikePotNoodle, who better to team up with to highlight the ridiculous state of the UK's roads than @potnoodle? Send us pictures of your worst, local potholes using the hashtag and tagging your local council! pic.twitter.com/NHlSWwk0n3

"Potholes drive road users potty and me more than most," said Mark.
"The pothole crisis across the UK is an increasingly serious issue that I have been campaigning on for more than ten years."
He continues by saying that this is only the most recent example of many tactics he has adopted throughout his campaign.
Since 60% of drivers in a recent RAC poll believe the roads are worse than they were a year ago and that road surface condition is the major problem within that group, Mark has his work cut out for him.
