One of the highly anticipated Bollywood movies Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan is going to bring together some of the amazing talents of the industry together. From Ranbir Kapoor to Sunny Deol, from Sai Pallavi to KGF star Yash, the cast of the film looks quite promising as of now. However, an official announcement on the same is awaited.??
After the Adipurush debacle, the expectations from this three-part film are quite high. Even Om Raut (director of Adipurush) is looking forward to it. Do you know this Oscar-winning company is working on the VFX of Ramayan?
If reports are to be believed,?Namit Malhotra is producing the film. For the unversed, he is the CEO of DNEG?a British visual effects, computer animation and stereo conversion studio that has won eight Oscar awards for their contribution to films like Oppenheimer, Inception, Interstellar, Ex Machina, Blade Runner 2049, First Man, Tenet and Dune.
Earlier an insider had told ETimes, "It will be made on a massive scale, with completely new, high-octane visuals. Namit and Nitesh are employing state-of-the-art equipments, techniques and effects for their ambitious project. It is going to be one of the largest teams of qualified professionals from across the world, and they will all be working under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. The plan is to have a grand VFX team, the biggest cast, and mega sets. That's how Nitesh has envisioned to create the world of Ramayana."
Earlier, Madhu Mantena and Allu Aravind were also co-producing Nitesh Tiwari's?Ramayan. However, they have backed out of the project now, as per reports. It is said that an official announcement on the project will be made in April.? ?
People on Reddit are speculating the reason behind this. One of them wrote, "Madhu Mantena and Namit had a fall out. Madhu¡¯s job was to finalise casting and Namit was to look after VFX. Madhu kept delaying it and that's why the project got delayed. So they removed Madhu out of the project and Nitesh went ahead with finalising the casting."
Another one said, "Nope madhu was unable to finalise the casting part by the deadline. Due to which movie kept getting delayed. So they removed him and Namit & Nitesh went ahead."
