After Dhanush-Aishwaryaa Split Announcement, Ram Gopal Varma Goes On A Rant Against 'Marriages'

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma started a rant against the concept of marriages. His rant comes as a response to Dhanush and Aishwaryaa announcing their split after 18 years of being together.?

Taking a dig at star weddings and how they are excellent trendsetters that could serve as a caution to youngsters, RGV wrote:

In a follow-up post, RGV wrote that ‘nothing murders love faster than marriage.’?

In his following tweet, RGV wrote a disclaimer that reads:‘Keep loving’ instead of entering the ‘jail called marriage.’

“Love in a marriage lasts for lesser days than the days they celebrate it, which is 3 to 5 days,” RGV wrote.?

RGV claimed that ‘smart people love and dumbos marry.’He added that divorces should be celebrated.?

“Only divorces should be celebrated with sangeet because of getting liberated, and marriages should happen quietly in the process of testing each other’s danger qualities,” he wrote.?

In another tweet, RGV claimed that marriage means entrapment in a ‘continuous cycle of unhappiness.’?

RGV had made similar comments after Aamir Khan, and Kiran Rao announced the news of their divorce.?

On Monday, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa published a joint statement announcing separation on their social media platforms.?

They wrote: “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better."

While fans are heartbroken with the news, it looks like RGV just wanted to use it to express his disliking towards the concept of marriage.
