In a tragic incident, an 18-year-old girl from Noida committed suicide by hanging as she was scared of poor marks in English in the CBSE Class 10 Exam.
The girl, Samistha Rout was concerned that she might not perform well as she could not attempt some of the questions in the exam. The Times of India quoting her family reported that Samistha was upset over her performance and had given enough hints that she might not score as expected for English.

And on Friday when her father Sarat Rout had gone to work and mother Nirmala was at a relative's place, Samistha committed suicide by hanging from the fan with her dupatta.?
But on Monday, when the results were published the family was in for a shock. Not only that? Samistha had performed well in English by the 82 marks she scored was the highest she got in any subject.

Samistha was a student at? New Sainik Public School in Noida's Sector 63. According to her family, Samistha who a gifted painter had won many awards for her painting and had represented her school in different competitions.
She wanted to be a fashion designer, but her father wanted Samistha to become a teacher.
