People Lash Out At Raj Kundra For Trying To Whitewash His Image With Stand-Up Comedy Stint

In fact, he chooses different kinds of masks to hide his face, especially after his arrest in a porn film case. Is he ashamed to show his face? Fans often take a dig at him. However, the British-Indian businessman, who was ranked as the 198th richest British Asian by Success, came out boldly recently.

The businessman didn't ditch his mask as he did stand-up comedy. He apparently performed for his friend and comedian Munawar Faruqui. In this short clip circulating on social media, Kundra engaged in self-deprecating humour as he took several digs at himself -- even mentioning his porn films case.

He started off by saying that if anyone has a porblem with sexual jokes, they can go out for 10 minutes. When none of the audience member walked out, he said, "badi tharki audience hai yaar."
He introduced himself as "masked man"
And then added that he is also known as Shilpa Shetty's husband.

Not just that, he also called himself a cheap copy of American rapper, singer and songwriter Kanye West.
He then talked about his journey. He started by saying at the age of 18, he was working as a taxi driver in London. at the age of 21, he had built an empire of Pashmina Shawl.
And then he took a dig at the porn film case

He said, "Mera Kaam hamesha se kapde chadhane ka tha, utarne ka nahi."

An attempt to whitewash his image?
People believe that by doing a stand-up comedy show, Kundra was just trying to whitewash his image.
"Comedy ki aad me apen ku karam ko chupake sabko c***ya bana diya," the first comment on the video read.

A movie based on Raj Kundra's life story is in the works. In the film, he will also act and thus make his acting debut. The film will reportedly track down his journey and all details from the time when he was first accused in a pornography film case to spending time in an over-crowded Jail ¨C the Arthur Road Jail.
