It's hard to tell if this is the future of communications at Twitter, for there is no team to assist with the same. When I wrote to Twitter, I also received an e-mail back with the poop emoji. Take a look below:

But many publications, including Business Insider have been able to verify Elon Musk's very public move of trolling journalists with the infamous poop emoji that was once at the centre of another Twitter-related controversy.

Most reports claimed that the communications team was among the first ones to be let go after Elon Musk's takeover that culminated in mass firings and other cost-cutting measures. In fact, Twitter has allegedly not been keeping up with the rent for its office space and has a plethora of unpaid bills from consulting firms.

For now, all that we have to go by from Twitter's end is an ominous poop emoji that does more harm than good to the company's public image. It all began when Musk decided to make Twitter his personal playground through artificial boosts for himself, a paid verification system for virtually anyone, and amplification of problematic voices on the once holistic platform.
